This restaurant has a great food and its also very funny as the owner Franco is really funny guy. We have always a great evening there.
We tried our luck with booking a last minute table at this restaurant & Franco squeezed us in. The evening felt like a spectacular homecoming with fire, entertaining speech, lively music and fresh, mouth-watering fish. I'm sure the evening 'show' doesn't alter much from evening to evening, so not a place to visit every night as the order of events... More
This is a small, intimate Fish Restaurant in the heart of the Portuguese Quarter of the City. Booking is advisable if not essential, this is a very popular restaurant with limited space and only really one sitting per evening (irrespective of what time one arrives.) There is no menu: for a fixed price one is served 4 courses, 3 fish... More
When we went to this restaurant, it was ranked within the Top 5 on TA. I thought, I would give it a shot, especially due to the raving reviews. We made reservations on the same day and were seated with a couple at the same (!) table. You get served and entertained by Franco himself and everybody gets the same... More
I can't understand how this restaurant is rated so highly it was disgusting. The courses all taste the same. The main man was so in your face and false. I find trip advisor great but this restaurant for people who appreciate good food was horrible.
Nice restaurant with nice concept for the menu. Everyone gets the same but you can eat as many courses as you like for the same price (20eu) Normally after 4 dishes you are full. As they buy in the courses for the whole restaurant they can buy top quality for low prices. So for 20 eu per menu you get... More
The place is a bit small, but it makes it much fun. Franco, the owner, is helping by his own, with his tremendous personality, definitely he is part of the show. The food is very good, fresh fish and i think the best is that at least the time a was there, it did not have menu, you just paid... More
We booked a table and was served with much ado by Franco himself. Flaming schrimps, wonderfull fish and a desert. The local guitar player was also very good - also at singing.
Me and 3 of my friends had our dinner in Casa franco ( Three dishs per person). The dishs were really tasty and each dish was presented separatly.
