The restaurant is popular with gourmets, the in-crowd and beer drinkers who wax-lyrical about it. The food tastes amazing and prices are reasonable. The meat is cooked to perfection and the side dishes are delicious. The lunch menu offers wonderful meals for vegetarians. The staff are stylish and fashionable. Bistro part is cosier

Bullerei has 2 separate areas - to the left is the restaurant, where we were told we had to wait ~1h to be seated on a wednesday, and straight ahead is the bistro where we easily found a table. Possibly overrated but worth a visit as it's in a very cool area for those who don't mind seeing the real Hamburg. Food OK but nothing worth returning for.

A fine design is what people like. Thanks god the taste is different and I do not like the restaurant DELI. It looks simple and the guests shall think that the furniture is used and damaged. But this is not real it is just the manufactures design. Well I have ordered the DELI BURGER. The meat was very dry and... More

Went there for dinner the place is rather quaint . Steaks were Ok however watch out for the pricing as they charge by the weight ..the steak recommended to us was by weight and can be misleading as 300 grams cost us over 50 euros each (it would be a 6 oz at home ) and was not the best... More

Unfortunately we couldn't get a table in the restaurant so we had dinner in the bistro. Our steaks were good, even though the meat was a bit chewy in parts of our rump steak. There is room for improvement there. The corn and salad that come with the meat were very good. The service was friendly and efficient, waiting times... More

Filetto meat and entrecote were both very good, (my fillet was not "top" indeed), starters nothing special except the meat tartare with capers, great. Good wines and dessert. Quite expensive but I think in line with the prices of the city. Fantastic atmposphere, really international but cozy and great service.

Overpriced, overrated restaurant compared to other steak restaurants in HH. Meat was good, but not the best I have had in the city. I guess this is paying for the location, the chef who is apparently a celebrity in Germany! He's not Jamie Oliver but he walks about and was friendly to us, so we can't complain. Nice atmosphere in... More

The interior of this restaurant falls into the category of 'Industrial chic' I suppose you would call it. The walls consist of rough cast brickwork and original white metro tiles and the overall effect is quite dramatic. Food, is basic fayre but nontheless tasty and well cooked. Well worth a visit.

After reading about this restaurant in an Hamburg travel guide, we headed to this restaurant to find out it was full for the next 2 days. We made a reservation, hoping it was worth it. It wasn't. I guess this is one of those trendy restaurants at the moment in Hamburg, but for the price we paid, there are many... More

...it started off with getting the table which was explicitly asked to NOT have, and this having reserved in person a couple of months ahead. The location is great though good ambiance and amazingly good music even without a dj. We all ordered the filet steak which was of very good quality the side dishes where simple but tasty as...
