1- I call to order a table and they are so unfriendly. 2- they have no idea about Greek food. 3- TERRIBLE first experience for Greek food. My advice. Don't try this one it's very bad.

Greek food in Germany tend to be served in the same way which, as long as the food is nice, is not necessarily a bad thing. In Kouros things are a bit different. The service level is a bit more posh, prices are raised a few procent, the food is not as voluptuous but more "organized" and elegantly served, the... More

I went to dine on my own having read some reviews on this restaurant as being good.. I ordered the calamari. This was simply disgusting! Deep fried in old stale oil that tasted burnt and just old and over used. I did complain and all the Sicillian waiter said is, I shall tell the cook! Fat lot of good that... More

A resident of Montreal, Quebec with plenty of Greeks and Greek restaurants and having been to Greece on multiple occasions, this restaurant is only somewhat authentic at best. It's more of a "half German-half Greek" type of place with very steep prices to attract a wider clientele (businessmen, older couples, etc). To start, the Greek salad, though creatively displayed on... More

Having walked past this place a few times and always seen it busy at all times, we were not disappointed when we went in. The staff are great, knowledgeable and very keen to please. The food was cooked to perfection, and the recommended wine was really good.

This was billed as the best and most authentic Greek restaurant in Hamburg. While we did enjoy the food and met some really fun people at the adjacent table, my impression is meh. I have spent a fair amount of time in Greece and love the food. Almost every dish that in Greece would have lamb as its base is... More

My Greek coworker chose the restaurant, and was very pleased at the authenticity. I can't speak to the authenticity, but the meal was very good. We had fried feta cheese and an assorted plate for an appetizer, the I had the mixed Olympic plate for my main course. I enjoyed everything on my plate. I did not have wine or... More

I really liked this restaurant, which we stumbled upon as it was close to our hotel. Food was modern Greek, and very good, with the usual large portions Germans seem to demand. We couldn't finish our mains. They had my favourite Greek wine - Moscholfilero. There was a great atmosphere, and noticeably Gay.

we looked for a greek restaurant (as we always do on our trips, being my parents greek with a mother being a great cook), and read some reviews and went there, nice cozy place, small traditional type restaurant with white linings on tables, greeted and served by the owners, great food and taste, did i mentioned it is organic?, great... After reading the TA review Kouros is a short walk from the Meridian so we thought we would have a change from the native food we have been eating. We were very please with everything about the restaurant. The host greeted us warmly, the food was excellent. I'm not sure I understand the review that said the portions we small-I... More
