Description: The combination of arts and cooking is full of promises - We at the House of Photograpgy are conscious of this. So we decided, when we reopened the museum in 2005, to marry the works of important photographers with a creative, innovative but non-trendy offer of treats for the gourmet.

When the locals don't want to tell you about it then you know it must be good. Meals are cooked to order and are just superb. Very friendly staff help you translate menu as only available in German. A fantastic dining experience

The "Fillet of Soul" is a very good restaurant. I had the "rookie Labskaus" and a salad, and both were very good. The problem is with the service. Admittedly the restaurant was full, but I had one guest at my table, who actually wasn't served. She put that to her "impoliteness of having seated her herself". the next guest at... More

This restaurant is an excellent place inside one of the best places for photo-Exhibitionismus in Hamburg (Deichtorhallen). The whole party hat different Steaks and the staff mixed up Medium vs. Rare... - they replaced it out of there open kitchen immediately (added it...!) - very good. Very friendly staff!

Had great food, but do not go there if you need a quiet place. This is a small place with a load acustic, but the food quality was really great. The waiter did not really know anything on everything, but we had a great evening. One note though: you need to drink wine, they have as good as nothing else... More

Menue is different and away from normal stuff. Very good and fresh quality. Little crowded, but high turnover. Need to have reservation! Great location.

We have reserved a table at the Fillet of Soul with the help of Bookatable. The place was completely booked no matter of the bad weather outside. Our choice of food was 3 course menu with accompanying wine for 45 pp. The price was a steal taken into account the quality. The service was very friendly, and the food delicious.... More

This restaurant has a very sophisticated feel to it, with only the large blackboard over the open kitchen area being a bit out of place. The interior is as clean and clear in its design, lighting and deco - as is the menu: typically German for not providing more vegetarian meal options but very appealing, both by wording and by... Dined here our first night in Germany. Service was particularly good as our German linguistic skills hadn't kicked in and we didn't have our phrase book - they were very patient and helpful with food recommendations. Food-wise, everything was delicious (ideal for American tourists who are tired of more traditional German cuisine, but still want something with some regional authenticity).
