Had good business dinner here. The mixed starter plate is a good option. Had beef larb meal which was tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. Go there for the amazing views across the Elbe to the container port and to watch the ships go by.

We went to the Piano Beach area on a very hot day in July 2014, the location seemed very random for us toursist, in the middle of a dock/industrial area, but perfect for warm, thirsty Scandinavians with a pool to dip our toes in, laid back furniture, helpful staff behind the bar and a little sand beach area. Amazing! And... More

Maybe was a wrong night to go. Asian food good but nothing special. Service very poor. Beautiful view over the harbor. Bar downstairs was full and the atmosphere was good.

We had a large group for a business dinner and recieved excellent service, some of the best in our week long trip to Germany. The view is spectacular - the dining area is surrounded by windows with views of the water. This was our second time to Indochine and I was somewhat disapopinted in the food, however, it was still... We went there in a huge group for our conference dinner. To begin, we had a really tasty strawberry aperitif at the ground floor. After that, we were brought to the 2nd level for dinner with many courses, so we could try different kind of food (not a buffet). Not authentic Singaporean / South-East Asian food but tasty! Wonderful view... More

In Hamburg for work had the weekend to kill and wanted a place to go out on Saturday night for food and drinks in one place. A little apprehensive after the reviews but can honestly say had a great time. Cocktails were great and heavy. We had a meal in the restaurant which was tasty and not bad at all.... More

I was very optimistic about the authenticity of the food but was really let down. The view overlooking the Elbe was the best part of the restaurant. The tables and chairs felt so bulky and uncomfortable and the acoustics of the room made it hard to hear each other. With the high price of the food, I expected much better... More

The Indochine is a restaurant chain with branches in Asia (e.g. Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia) and one restaurant in Europe, the Hamburg branch. Its location in Hamburg is stunning and a popular dinner spot since almost 10 years. Besides the restaurant that is characterized by tall glass windows, which open scenic views over Hamburg harbor the Indochine contains an ice bar... More

Most people think of Indochine for dinner. My office is near the restaurant and we eat often here for lunch. The lunch menu has 5 or 6 options ranging from 7 to 9 euros. Good food at a great price for lunch.

we were there with a group of about 20 people. we were quite fast served and hadn't wait for too long. Nice view on the Hamburg harbour. Nice interior of the restaurant with chinese motives. Very interesting idea of the ice chamber. It's definitely worth seeing.
