Small beers but cool location. I had the lamb skewed and really liked it but my colleague did not. I would go here again it was a nice interior.

Set in the cellars of the Ratskeller, this place looks super, with the ancient oak barrels, vaulted whitewashed ceilings and lovely furniture. Historical settings are all very well, but I expect food to be edible. Having chosen the turkey/pork mixture, after a few mouthfuls, I not only discovered that the food was undercooked, it was raw and bloody inside. Beef... More

The place was spectacular, but the food and service could really be better. Staff seems bored and will not extend themselves for you. Ho hum.

Have a feast in an old cellar! Excellent atmosphere, but I didn't like the food very much, but maybe that's just me not liking the traditional German food.

Enjoyed a delicious German-style pork filet with hash-browned potatoes for a very reasonable lunch price. Atmosphere was warm and the service very friendly. Giant barrels and dining nooks make for a great ambiance whether it's a date or a business lunch.

This place is fantastic! Just go in for a look, the huge barrels are decorated beautifully, and vaulted ceilings and private booths really add atmosphere. Not the cheapest, but very very nice. Just be careful going down the stairs!!

We visited and learned about how singles communicated through the pillars so that other could not hear. You have to try it. it is demonstrated on all of the city tours. Learn the secrets of communication before Alexander Graham Bell....LOL

We really enjoyed our time here. Ate very good German food and had nice beers. The building is below the town hall in the main square. Lovely interior. Good service. Very easy to find. Not expensive at all. Would definitely go again.

Delicious Entrees! We walked down the entrance on a whim and with each step we knew we would like this restaurant. We saw little rooms with tables and asked to be seated in one of these little private dining rooms. Tall ceilings in these little rooms. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. In this tourist area of Bremen, we... More
