Please don't go here expecting a pizzeria, it isn't one & it doesn't serve them - it serves great authentic mid & southern Italian dishes made from fresh local ingredients & an excellent wine list to complement the food. Very friendly staff & good service.

Had my pre-theater dinner here a few days ago. Good pasta, good salad, good Italian wine, friendly service. Decent prices, too.

Got a tip in the hotel for a good Italian. What a warm welcome and dito food. Welcomed with a glass of prosecco, a big smile and good food. If you search a good place with excellent service and super food this is the place!!!!!!

Our waiter was very stressed and ruined the whole meal. Sure, the food was good but since the service was such a disaster this actually completely destroyed our visit.

We went here on our first night in Berlin as it was pretty much opposite our hotel. We went in at about 9:30 on a saturday night and were greeted and seated. We ordered our drinks. My partner had a large and I had a carafe of white whine which was very nice. My partner had carbonara and I had... More

Opposite to our hotel, this was a natural choice. Salad was fresh, dressing tasty, pastas were great with chianti. Also the tiramisu was simply wonderful. The place was fully booked and we only managed to get in since we were early and promised to leave soon. Still we didn't feel any pressure and enjoyed very good sercvice.

I visited this restaurant Friday evening, late August. We sat on terrace seat and selected dishes from today's dishes. My dish was a sauteed sword fish. I guess, the fish was marlin. It was modestly seasoned and that's for me. I enjoyed it with white wain. The atmosphere is quiet and good for enjoy talking.

We popped in at Pasta&Basta without a reservation, but managed to get a table once we promised to leave within somewhat over an hour. Kind Italian staff and absolutely delicious pasta dishes. The menu includes much more than pastas, but no pizzas. Two pastas, wine and water, coffee and grappa 50 euros. Worth trying!

This is not a pizzeria - in fact we didn't even see pizza on the menu. It's a real Italian restaurant - great food, great ambiance and very friendly and helpful waiters. Didn't book but probably best too as the word seems to be going round.... Well worth a visit - you can even try your Italian out on the... More
