Charming, Beautiful Experience

This restaurant deserves its top rating on TA. I loved how it had an antique feel about the place, not too many tables so that the staff could deliver seamless service to all diners. The food - well it was delicious and a really varied menu. I had Hare, Escargot, Pheasant and a mixed desert plate... read more

Elegant, sophysticated, not for everyday lunch. The atmosphere is very romantic. But the food.. I didn' t like the food. Not so fresh as I expected. But they have good french wines. I won' t come back, too expansive for the quality of the food.

We just went there for dinner. You can't just enter the restaurant, you'll have to ring and they will open the door for you. The kitchen is French, the service is great (older woman and man). It's a little pricy, but it's worth the money. You won't forget this!

I came here with 3 friends from Berlin for a dinner. They had visited before and insisted that I had to try Restaurant Heising and it was definitely a good idea :) It is a family run restaurant and it is clear they take great pride in their business. The setting while appearing very formal at first glance is quite... More

My wife and I came for dinner as the restaurant was rated No.1 on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. Booking is advisable as the restaurant is quite small and very popular. The dining room is very elegant in an Edwardian style. Treat this place with respect and you will be rewarded with excellent food and charming attentive service from... More

What can I say this was a fantastic experience in a very relaxed setting. It was just what my wife and I were looking for. We came to Heising the day before Valentines day as it was my wife's birthday. We both loved the place :) Service was fantastic, food was excellent. We both went for 4 courses and by... More

I love this restaurant and come back every time I'm in Berlin. The reviews about it are not exaggerating: eating here is a great experience. The atmosphere is very romantic and elegant, the service is impeccable, the food is outstanding. Incredibly good value for what it is, too. Book well in advance if you want to find a table.

I came to Heising for a dinner with two work colleagues during January. I have to say it was really one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. We were greated by Mrs. Heising who took our coats and made us feel immediately at ease. The service throughout the evening was graceful and not rushed and we even... More

When you come to the Heising in Berlin, the experience of coming home to a very nice and cultivated family starts when you have to ring the doorbell for getting into the luxury living room. Herr or Frau Heising welcome you then warmly and take care of your coats. After having been served with the most delicious dishes and wines,... More

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
