Nice Persian Brunch

Went there for runch, the buffet is very nice, wide range of food, lots of veggie stuffs, some kind of ausages, eggs, cheese, fruits, cereals. The plus: tea, coffee, apple and orange juice included

They don't have some of main real Persian foods, they have just some of them. Dizi, Kabab and Ghorme Sabzi, in my humble opinion are best samples of real Persian food style. When I asked why they don't have Dizi in their menu, they answered very rudely, so I left it. They are neither respectful nor real Persian restaurant. They... More

Nice restaurant with a very original and exciting variety of food. Great for experiencing the food culture. Unfortunately there are no vegetarian dishes on the card (except for the entrees). The food was good, prices were ok.

Booked a dinner two. Waited 45 min. We asked the waiter how long they think it would take. 5 min he says. After 10 min with still no food, we left. We saw people arriving later than us get served. In all fairness we did get our drinks and the salads to main courses after 30 min. They seem to... More

This is a tourist trap. It's a basic lamb chop kind of place. I'm giving it two stars because the bathroom was clean and the service was fast. I rely on TripAdvisor but restaurant reviews can be varied on here.

Disappointing lamb dishes - with only 4-5 small chunks of meat and tasty but rather bland sauces. The salad (different herbs, onions, and radishes) were presented after two of us had finished the main course. We had to wait for more than 15 minutes to get the check.

one of the best, if not the best place to eat Persian food in Berlin. Not just for people who want to try Persian food for the first time, but all Iranians living away from family and just crave some really good home made food!!!!! Very GOOD!

If you want to enjoy amazing Persian food in Berlin, this place should be on top of the list. Delicious food, nice atmosphere and very good service makes this place a must visit, specially if you are somewhere near the alt-moabit area! For drinks, don't miss 'Dugh', which is similar to Ayran ( famous Turkish joghurt drink ), which is... More

They have great dishes for reasonable prices. The best thing I like about Hafis is their Sunday Brunches. A buffet breakfast including two rice dishes serving as lunch, plus desserts. Drinks included (proper Samavar tea, coffee, juice) and the price is 10 euros. Very reasonable!

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
