This was a great experience! A must do for everyone who likes to drink wine in a nice area!! You need to buy a glass for 2 euro. Then you can taste some wine and decide wich one you want to drink. You can fill your glass every time. At the end you make a choice what you want to... More

We really enjoyed our Sunday evening at Weinerei Forum. The place is cozy and has a great atmosphere. You can choose from a selection of wines, have food (soup, pasta and salad) from the buffet and pay at the end. What we understood was that we should pay what we considered fair acccording to what we had had. However, the... More

They have this great wine buffet after 8 pm which works on donations, quite unique experience. We had some food as well, it was simple but really good and filled the stomach. The glass as well as the house are always full in Weinerei ;)

dropped in to Weinerei in late Saturday afternoon after a busy day in Berlin. Great atmosphere with lounge chairs, good coffee and wine, VERY reasonable prices and backround jazz music. Free WiFi was a plus.

In a city famed for its night life, this little gem is worth the visit, if not solely for the novelty factor. 2 euros, essentially, gets you all the free wine you can drink (plus a small donation in the fish bowl before leaving). Weinerei is also a great wine bar, a place you would actually come to, the 2... More

I live a block from here and it's my favorite restaurant in Berlin. Not for perfectly constructed meals, but for the casual nonchalance of the restaurant filled with passionate people. The kitchen is big and worked by Bano who it seems is spending half the time also chatting with the customers and bringing a great energy to the place. The... More

As a visitor to Berlin, friends who live here introduced me to Weinerei - both the cafe on the corner of Veteran Strasse and the Wine Bar at the other location. I've been several times and have only had good experiences. Where else in Berlin can you drink coffee for 1 Euro? At the cafe, the coffee is always good... More

We expected that the Weinerei Forum had food served, but upon arrival we heard that food was only available late (20:30) and it sounded rather simple. Only go for wine at this place - which we didn't do as we don't drink alcohol.

This wine bar is truly unique. Basically the deal is you arrive, pay €2 cover, and then eat and drink what you like. Then, when you depart, you pay what you think you owe for the food and drinks. Total honour system here. There are actually 2 locations in the Mitte area, Perlin and Forum. We went to Perlin on... More

Found this place by coincidence. Nice owners who are happy to explain 'the concept' very Berlin type of place.
