Best sushi in town

There are several good sushi bars in Berlin, but nothing is like Omoni. The atmosphere is cozy and I really loved the interiors. The food is just great. Definitely the best sushi in town.

We found this place on tripadvisor and visited on our last night in Berlin! Lovely little place with no signage that you could simply walk past if you didnt know it was there. Menu was in German so we found it difficult to understand, and once seeing other dishes go out we think we missed out on some great things... More

During a trip is not so simple to find a real good sushi if you don't know enough about the city. My boyfriend and me have tried Omoni yesterday after checking reviews here in Tripadvisor. We advise this restaurant because of the good quality of sushi, fresh fish and fine rice. Also price is not too expensive. We suggest to... More

One of the best sushi places I have gone to, I live very close and go there often. Great quality, fair price. The fish carpaccio is AMAZING and the warm wine outstanding.

I loved this place!! The sushi was outstanding!! The fish tasted fresh and extremely tender, it malted in my mouth!! The selection of teas was also great!! The place is small and cosy! Make a reservation!! We ate at the table but the idea of eating at the bar also looked interesting!! We ate also a portion of rice with... More

We came here because it is the highest rated Japanese restaurant in Berlin. Our dinner was good, but I don't think it is as good as the ratings make it out to be. We ordered a lot of food so we could try a lot of different different things. By far the best dish was the mixed carpaccio starter. You... More

Probably the best sushi I ever had in Berlin: fresh, smooth and tasty flavors in a pleasant minimalist atmosphere. The details count and it's not only about the appearance!

We went there before a concert nearby and it was super good. It would be a good idea to have menu in English because it was hard to make a choice without understanding the menu.

I love sushi and I have tried many spots in Europe – this one is the best! I went to Omoni with great expectations but nothing could have prepared me for what we were offered. The tea (1.5-2.5euro per cup, kimchi, rolls, sashimi, nigiri (try the big unagi) and the dessert were fabulous! Compared to similar places like Sasaya, this... More

It's true that you should book in advance and pay particular attention to the fact that there are 2 Kopenhagener strasse in Berlin not that far from one another. (it can happen with other streets due to some historical reasons!) The first time we wanted to try this restaurant we went to the wrong address, where there is absolutely no... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
