Very good cheap burgers

I got the chili cheese burger and a soft drink for a total of 6 euro. Being from California, I've definitely had burgers just as good for less but Burgermeister did not disappoint and was still pretty reasonably priced. As everyone has already mentioned, there isn't a lot of space to sit, but I... read more

Great burgers and fries. Good selection of burger styles. Very fast service. Be warned that it is an outdoor street food stall under a train bridge with limited seating. It is a great place to sit and watch people.

For 6 euros, you have a beer, a huge burger and a cool place where to eat. Near the East Side Gallery. Would recommend! Fun spot!

Fantastic burger joint! I had the barbecue burger with cheese and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The fries with bacon and cheese pushed me over the edge. Still thinking about them now!

Worth the shlepp to this little place. Yummy burgers and chips. Very simple but this gives the place a good ambiance. Also had vegetarian burgers. A good location for setting out on a street art tour.

One of the best burgers I've ever had, and I've had a lot of burgers! (Trust me, I'm from Nebraska) The burger was flavorful, juicy, and perfectly done. The fries were salty and sensational! An absolute must for all the foodies out there.

We came over to Berlin from the UK to watch the UFC over there, we stopped off at Burgermeister. The queue was large and the seating area was not huge and so I had my doubts waiting to be served. I am also quite fussy and was worried my order would get taken down wrong - when I got to... More

Some things a worth are trip out of a city centre, whilst not a long trip, couple of miles from AlexanderPlatz. What a burger. Queues can get quite big, but soon disappear, and service is very quick, food out of this world and so cheap. Only in Berlin for 4 nights and we went twice. 2 burgers, 2 fries, 4... More

A must go. They double toast the buns and the fries and still crispy after being soaked in chilli. The line up looks long, but they are fast.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
