Very good food - exellent atmosphere

Nice waiters and good service, very good tapas and a magical atmosphere, especially if you get to sit outside.

The wonderful staff made our large family gathering magical. We had lovely food (I don't eat enough Spanish food to comment with much expertise here) that tasted great. I would recommend the large tapas platter, which is a little pricey but worth it, both for the flavors as well as the process of sharing at the start of a good... More

We took the tapas approach to our supper. Delicious food. Lovely and fun setting. It wasn't cheap, but we felt like we received good value for the money.

Great variety of tapas. Very tasty and fresh. The Restaurant has a nice layout and the staff is very friendly. Excellent value for money. Another important asset: it is a bit away from the popular touristic quarters and many locals come here to eat...

From inside, you may feel like being in Madrid or Barcelona as the decoration is quite well done and clearly give the impression of being in Spain. Well done. Obviously, this restaurant is used to work with large group as we had a table for 17 people without issue. This being said, for people who are looking for a quite... More

Last year we visited this Tapas-restaurant and we really enjoyed it. Sometimes you are disappointed when you visit a good restaurant for a second time, but we were not. Once again we enjoyed a great Spanish evening. We choose to sit inside as it was rather chilly. Not for the other customers as all tables where taken (inside and outside).... More

A good place for tapas, absolutely worth a visit, but not amazing in any way. The service was a bit slow, and the waiters very busy, but the food was tasty and fresh. I missed a spanish dessert of the "crema"-variety, and the flan icecream was a bit boring. Atmosphere was good, though. We had wished the waiter could make... More

Mar y Sol enjoys a prominent corner plot on Savignyplatz with many outdoor tables which are heated by patio heaters. The choice of tapas is comprehensive. Service was slow – it took a long time before our order was taken and our drinks were brought. Two of our plates didn't arrive and after a long wait we reminded our server.... More

If you give this restaurant a visit during summertime you can sit outside at the roofed terrace. People working there are nice and the service is prompt. Food is average. It's not bad but not really good either. If you have been to Spain and you were one of the lucky ones to taste really good spanish food then you will... More

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
