Food is amazing here, they have a great selection of beers

Just go here with your friends to spend good time. I really loved this pub, we used this pub as our meeting point with friends while we were in Berlin. Treat yourself with their food, we loved their schnitzel.

The food was so delicious and reasonably priced. Seemed like many locals were there. Staff was good-overall a great experience

This charming little pub is what you would expect for most German pubs. I went there with a large group of friends (there were 15 of us) and mostly it went fine. The food was nice and apparently the beer was good (I did not drink any) but they made the unfortunate mistake of forgetting my food. Never mind, it... More

I went here following a recommendation from a fellow Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint. The food menu is small but sufficient particularly to get something breakfast-like in the afternoon. And, the execution was flawless. The beer list was extensive. I highly recommend for an inexpensive yet satisfying lunch.

One of the best bars i've been too. That includes my own hometown of Bk/NYC. Great selection of beer or drinks. No matter what your taste is, bitter, dark, light, sweet. .. they got everything. Try the Dju Dju Mango beer for a light fruity taste. Service here is great too.

Our Sandeman's Berlin tour guide, Georgia, recommended us this place after a free walking tour of the city for some really nice "german food" and, to be honest, it didn't disappoint. Portions were generous and the atmosphere was nice. The server was very fluent in English and recommended us some nice local beers to try.

As we stayed in Mitte, some 5 mins walk from this place, we came here 2-3 times and really liked their beer. If I am in Berlin again, I'd surely come here again.

Great if you like beer but if not then there are alternatives- albeit much more expensive. Mixed experience surrounding staff. Initially really helpful and recommending which beer to try but at the end same person rude because she dropped her tip... Probably wouldn't rush back.

Amazing range of beers, but let down by poor staff and dirty tables. There is an extensive beer menu probably over 100 beers. The staff never seem to clean the tables between customers and there always sticky from beer spillages. OK for a beer but better bars on Oranienburger Str.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
