A week before visiting I had the best burger I have ever had, though this place topped it by far. Although the wait was long, it was definitely worth it. Loved the fact we could choose how we wanted it cooked, went for medium-rare and it came cooked to perfection. There was a big range of burgers to choose from... More

The place is amazing! Very nice style! The burgers are huge and delicious... The french fries are the best I've ever tried. I recommend to try the buffalo wings, the bbq sauce is really homemade. The sauce that comes with some carrots to combine the buffalo wings is just perfect, keep it with you to deep in the french fries!... More

The place isn't located at the center of Berlin, and might require some naviagtion, but in my opinion, if you're a burger lover: It definately worth it. As in most cases: we (my wife and myself) didn't know whether we will be there that day or not, so we didn't book. We did however, manage to get in since we... More

I was so impressed by the Burgers in this place, it takes a while to get a table and they take a lot of time to serve you, but once the food arrives it is the best meat I have ever had in a Burger by Far, the meat is exquisite , perfection is the word. The waiter Carlos was... More

The bird has really awesome burgers! Me and my boyfriend booked a table here for lunch on a Sunday, after visiting Mauer Park fleamarket. We had read that if was popular and that it could take a while for the food to be served, but we didn't have to wait. Great place for great burgers, don't miss it!

At first view i must admit we were sceptical to the place, but we sat down and we all agreed we had a excellent meal afterwards. We had chicken wing for starters, and they were hot. If u dont like very spicy food its not for you. Though the wings were good, they were nothing compared to the steak there.... More

One of the best burgers I've had! Proper 'real' meat, cooked to perfection. Very friendly service. Go for the house burger.

I love this place. Some of the best burgers ever. Try the burgers on the griddle. They're phenomenal. Everything is so good. A good selection of beers as well. Good service. Be prepared to wait if you don't book ahead. Just make sure you don't miss it!

Sunday evening. So better do a reservation on a chilly evening. But we found some space outside and did not regret. Nice and tasty food, good athmosphere. Friendly staff, good beer.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
