Decent burgers for a quick bite

We had the angus cheeseburgers with home fries. The burgers were delicious in a very classic way, although not sure we could really tell the difference between this beef and others. The fries were cut out in really large bites, which made them more like a cooked potato and not so much a frie, which... read more

Everytime I am in Berlin I need to grab a Kreuzburger, you have wide variety of different burgers and amazing fries with it or the best mozarella sticks, good Berlin atmosphere inside the bar, and great prices, worth to go!

i am a true burger fan and have actually bought myself a burger making kit to use with my own mince from my families farm. so being a fussy eater with good quality meat - a lot of burgers dont make the mark. this burger was not like any other burger. i have never seen such an extensive menu of... As a vegan I get excited when I find somewhere that serves lots of choice. We happened along Kreuzburger on the hunt for a vegan restaurant and even though it doesn't look much the food that was being served looked beautiful. We had to hang around a little to get a table as it's quite small but were able to... More

Ate here in 2011 whilst on a university research trip. Ate alone and still felt welcome - food was good and well priced. Highly reccommended. It is a McDonalds style ordering system but nevertheless, still good.

Can't say anything about burgers with meat but vegetarian burgers are average. Not bad and even good if you are very hungry.

We went to the branch in Friedrichschain just off Boxhagener Platz and the floor was so sticky I kid you not, I got my foot stuck to the floor. Give it a wash eh. The burgers were as lovely as ever, we usually go to the branch on Oranien but.... the french fries are SO salty. What's with the salt... More

I order many times a week from Kreuzburger and I'm always satisfied: the smell, the taste, the consistence of the bread, the price; all is perfect. In my personal experience, on of the best Cheesburger I've ever eat in my whole life.

Quality of food is very good with the burgers being prepared on demand in the open kitchen behind the counter. Recipes are very original and there are 4 different kinds of french fries or potatoe side orders to chose from. However, they don't seem to care how you like your meat, so your burger will be well done! You might... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
