Nice one

Very relaxed. Food was very good. Strange set up where you get a card when you enter and all expense is charged to the card. Strange but not a bad system. Very nice relaxing location.

Really good pasta, the service was nice and friendly. Apart from the wait in the queue everything was great. I can recommend the place.

the food was just fantastic. I like the way the order system works. It's much better for me to choose in a real food, not from the list, and then watch your meal being prepared instead of boring at the table.

Very tasty pizza at Vapiano Berlin Alexanderplatz - but you have to wait for hours. Even the staff we spoke to was annoyed. They told us that when they were told they had to work at Alexanderplatz there was big disappointment because of the crowds they serve every single day. Far too much they can handle. Our friends enjoyed the... More

My first time in this chain of restaurants. Quite a different concept. Diners queue at stations that prepare their choice of meal and then find a spot to sit and eat. The choices were fair with pasta, pizza, salads, soups and breads with a variety of drinks on offer. I timed my wait in the queue and it is no... More

We were in Berlin for tourism. So after a exhausted day we were looking for a place to relax and have healthy food. At the end, we had not only a salad but also a pizza. We were starving. We had a great experience, so we the last day we repeated dinner here. Very good experience too, but this time... More

We have eaten at Vapiano in The Hague and hence when we saw it in Berlin, we decided to try. Food was good and exactly what we expected based on previous experience. Pasta here is worth trying as it is freshly cooked and not sause mixed into boiled pasta as done in most places.

Coming up the stairs to the seating area, the subtle smell of Italian cuisine enters your nose and makes your taste buds go mad. The first impression is excellent- clean, Italian style and the meal is cooked right in front of you. We had a beef and scampi salad, spaghetti bolognese, lovely fresh bread, 2x orange juice, 2x latte's, a... More

I've been to Vapiano in 8 different contries, and In general I love their concept. So this review - ofc - is only about the specific place. The experience was really bad. To make it easier i'll list it: Bad things: - The receptionist let way to many people inside. - Chefs seemed to inexperienced and slow. - Way to... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
