This review is of the bar, rather than the restaurant.

We were staying at the Hyatt and ended up in this bar most nights, not out of convenience, but because it was brilliant. We went there on our first night after we'd eaten in the other bar (not quite so good). We fancied a cocktail and Vox had a great selection. There is also, I would guess, 200... read more

Went for dinner. Starters were OK, especially burrata was very nice. Service between starter and main course took 15 minutes, which I consider too long. Main courses were heavy on sauce, both dishes seemed to have the same, sticky gravy. Desserts were too complicated, including cilantro, miso, celleri (!) and other exotic mixtures. I would have preferred a nice scoop... More

Service not existing, arrogant staff with no manners and not friendly at all, at least the ones that were taking "care" on our table. Menu choice limited and value of money is below zero. The highlight of the night...we ask the dessert menu arround 23.00 and with out any prior notice, told us that couldnt be possible as kitchen closed.... More

Service couldn't be worse. Great hard wear but the rest was terrible. Food was far below good standard both quality and taste. Card had very small variety and at the end when we asked to get desert thay said that the kitchen had closed.

We had two dinners at Vox (restaurant at the Grand Hyatt Hotell were we stayed) during our latest stay in Berlin. The staff are very professional and serviceminded, and the food is great! The atmosphere is also very nice, with live music playing in the restaurant in the evening. The bar at Vox also serves more than 300 different types... More

From my point of view, visiting such restaurant very often should correspond with some special occasion. This time we entered the restaurant expecting to get not only high quality food but service and design as well. Food was delicious- recommend you beef tartar and black Angus steak- very delicious. Burrata- interesting decision but original version is preferable. One thing which... More

if you don't fancy the usual restaurants (chain restaurants for steaks, sausages etc), then go and dine at the Hyatt, especially at the Vox. The menu is small, but very special. The food is excellent and very creative. Service is according to the high standard of the hotel and the restaurant.

Vox restaurant is a part of the Grand Hyatt Hotel. The service was great. Polite, fast and friendly. We had sushi and sashimi as a starter. Super fresh and very tasty. The surf and turf (entrecote and langoustine) was also delicious. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone that visits Berlin

Excellent atmosphere, very attentive staff, great food and a vast selection of drinks, tad on the expensive side, but worth it.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
