Good food outside in the Tiergarten

The location is great, inside the Tiergarten on a very relaxing place. Not a wide variety of beers, but the prices and the food were right. Seemed to be very popular with the locals, especially with young people. Will definitely come back on my next trip to Berlin.

Came here on the Fat Tire City Tour and just loved it. The schnitzel is perfect. I must admit, it was my first (and the only I've had thus far), but my guide, a long-time Berliner, vouched for its relative quality! I didn't drink beer, but everyone around me was happy with what they were drinking, and everyone seemed content... More

Though a little hard to find, off the beaten path, this is a great place to visit for a pint (or three), and dinner if you desire. We had the cheese & sausage plate as an appetizer, and followed it up by splitting the schnitzel. Everything was very fresh and extremely tasty. I've never found a potato salad my hubby... More

Great food and drinks at reasonable price. We had the fish and risotto and also the Mediterranean pizza per our server's recommendation. Both dishes were great. Unfortunately it was raining when we visited but the patio has a great environment. Highly recommended.

We went here for some lunch and beer. A really cosy place to eat al fresco in the garden in Tiergarten. Kind of bar food on the menu, but quite a lot to choose from and they also had a coal grill. Can absolutely recommend a visit here!

Simple but good food at reasonable price. Drink beer with friends or family and enjoy the atmosphere. Food is more fast food than dinner time food.

We stopped in after a big walk from Brandenburg tor through the tierGarten. We had a basic meal and a couple of erdinger weis biers. The meals were cheap and delicious. Our blootwurst, kraut und mash was amazing. Service c was good. The only let down was the weather. If the weather was good i am sure this place would... More

Terraced outdoor seating including tables near the lock. You can watch the tourist boats go by. Food is ordered at 2 outside windows. Menus written on chalkboard above the windows. You order, pay and someone brings the food to your table. Every table has a number which you must give to the order taker. Great variety including the ability to... More

We stopped here on a bike tour and would definitely make another visit if we came back to Berlin. You can order from upstairs but I recommend going down the steps to the BBQ pit. The food that comes out is well-priced and delicious! You can get a few mixed plates of meat and the couscous salad is the best... More

Located past the zoo within Tiergaeten this is a great outdoor beer garden to enjoy some drinks and they serve bbq / German food with a great desert selection. It's self service so grab a table and go up and order.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
