Nice Place For Vietnamese

Found this hidden gem on trip advisor. Glad that we got there early because the whole place was basically reserved. The owner sat us right away because we came before the big rush of dinner. Been there in feb 2015. The price were ok for an person from Sweden. The food was ok, not the best viet food in Berlin. If you like viet food, then try Madami or Miss Saigon. Theirs food is more original.

Earlier reviews are spot on - great hospitality and tasty food at very reasonable prices. Try the Fritz Müller "prosecco" for something different - dry, tasty, without an overdose of fizz.

Went there for a good lunch, walked away with an experience that will last a lifetime. 10/10 would eat again.

Great place for dinner with an out of town guest. We were able to chat with our friends, didn't feel rushed. Staff very friendly especially toward our kids. I am glad we made reservations since we had a party of 6 and the restaurant was full. Also very reasonably priced and large glasses of wine.

This place takes service to the next level. Even though it was fully booked (we had a reservation) the staff cares very personal and nicely. I guess it was the owner that sat down and had a chat with me and my daughter. The food was good but the absolutely best part was the warm (and true) welcoming way of... More

All has been said, all has been commented about 600 times as far as this restaurant is concerned. I just want to confirm that we too were very pleasantly surprised to find this little gem. It has a very charming touch to it, the food is great and the owner is fully committed to making this place what it is.... More

Really nice decor, big crystal chandelier dripping off the ceiling, 20th century art on the walls and the loveliest staff. The food is fresh and aromatic and this place won't empty your wallet... stuff your face with a plate of very reasonably priced zingy noodles and throw in a really decent Sauv Blanc @ 14 euros a bottle. Add a... More

Great food and great interior. The owner Ertugrul fantastically takes on his role as host, but you can still have a fantastic time there without him. A bit off the main street, more than worth the short walk. After being for 5 days in Berlin without a nice dinner, this was really refreshing.

Wauw! We found this wonderful place our last day in Berlin. We have had many good meals in this wonderful city, but when you have been here for a week and experienced how many tourists this city has, you forgive that some waiters and staff in shops are a little tired of your questions. But never the less it is... More

Neighborhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
