Great German food in a cozy restaurant

I ate in this restaurant twice during my visit to Berlin. Walking distance from the Waldorf/Sofitel and other hotels. The duck with amazing, crispy and delicious. I also had a healthier option with the fish served with barely wilted spinach. Friends had several other dishes, it was obvious that... read more

An Austrian restaurant in Berlin. The size of schnitzel was enormous so this is the place to go if you are really hungry. Food was very good so I can really recommend this Place.

Nice austrian restaurant in the middle of Berlin. The Schnitzel was not the very best I've had in my life but still really tasty alone with a nice dressed sallad. Interior is alright aswell as the service. I would come back without doubts.

This place was recommended by a friend as having the best Vienna schnitzel he had ever tried. I knew I had to try it. I was not disappointed. It was incredible and came with a delicious side of cold potatoes and salad. The schnitzels was very thin and the batter was crispy and tasty. My friend had an amazing salmon... More

This is the third time I have eaten at this restaurant - and the food was this time really good and the service was previously very friendly - thanks for good food.

Stopped by for a schnitzel- and were we amazed at the quality of food and wine. It is NOT a place for a quiet, romantic evening- this is a bustling, happening place: quite a pleasant atmosphere. Service was outstanding and very attentive.

I was staying in hotel bristol which is very close, restaurant was full and i had to stay on the bar, menu is very nice, you can find typical austrian specials as snitzel and also modern combinations of typical ingrediences. What i really like is wine menu where i found my favorit austrian winemakers for reasonable price. I will visit... More

We went here to get a Schnitzel, and were not disapointed. Tasty food and wine in a pleasant atmosphere. Although the place was crowded, the staff took very good care of the guests. I am looking forward to my next visit.

The restaurant has been modernized since I was there many years ago. But the food is still excellent. The restaurant was full this Monday evening, but we had made a reservation (highly recommended you do that, it is a popular spot). The noise level in the restaurant was extremely high (something should have been done to reduce this a bit,... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
