The atmosphere and welcome is amazing and the food is so so good. Nothing was too much trouble - a must for any Berlin trip!

It just seemed to have something lacking. My girlfriend and I used this in July and the food was nice enough as were the staff but I just didn't take to it. It was popular when we went so I must be in the minority.

The food is typical German (east prussian) and the kindness is all Italian. The plates are rich and the food is awesome. Yes one time is not enough, if you are in Berlin you have to try it. Bon appetite!

We said we'd return and we did - this time for our first wedding anniversary - taking two guests with us. The only thing that disappointed us was that Ramona was not there! The lady who did serve us spoke perfect English, was very helpful and attentive though, so this in no way ruined our visit. As a vegetarian I... More

The food is typically German and was nice enough. Maybe it wasn't the best pick for a hot summer evening as most of the food we had was stew or casserole based except for a shared salmon starter which felt kind of Christmassy. The couple who ran the place were lovely, welcoming and offering more potato dumplings etc but we... More

...what more could you ask for?! My boyfriend and I have just been here for a meal on a Friday night, pretty much all of their tables were reserved but they managed to find us a spot. I had the lamb and potatoes and it was fantastic! The owner was so nice, and speaks pretty much every language! I can't... More

I have been here once week ago with some friends that suggested to come here to taste the real german food. Great choice! The place is nice and graceful, typical german furniture. I had pork shinbone with german salad and, obviously, blond beer. The food is excellent. If you don't speak german, don't worry: owners speak english, french and italian... More

Saw the reviews and walked there for over an hour. It was 8.30pm on a monday night with a total of may be 4 tables taken. The place was pretty empty. The bartender/host/owner first ignored us and then a couple of minutes later asked us to wait while he made and then served drinks for one if the tables. During... More

Does exactly what it says. Definitely one for carnivores although there were veggie options it was the meat that was outstanding. Shared the crispy roast duck and the pork knuckle with my partner. Both were outstanding. Served simply with potato dumpling and sour cabbage. No room for puddings. Good looking kids options as well. Heartfelt subtle service from the owner... More
