Was surprised to hear Angelina Jolie celebrated her 38th birthday here and Justin Bieber dined here just a few weeks ago... There is a trendy vibe in the restaurant itself but all in all the food is nothing to be amazed by! I had the teriyaki chicken donburi which was just a deep fried piece of chicken on white rice... I rememeber making the reservations just a few years ago, because if you don't you can just finish sharing your table with total strangers, that's was always a "no go" also the terrible service, the waitresses giving you your bill as soon as you were about to be finishedbut the sushi was worth it. Now it's just the regular standard... More

Great sushi place. A lot of non-standard rolls which are pretty large. Fresh fish and homemade lemonades. The place is very popular but small, we got a seat at the end of the already crowded bar so if possible, try to book a table in advance, it's worth it. If you sit at the back near the kitchen it will... More

Really delicious, fresh sushi. Quick and friendly service. Fair prices. Nice atmosphere but the restaurant is very small, that's why we had to share the table with another couple. All in all the food is good and I would definitely come again.

This is a cozy sushi restaurant with a wide variety of dishes. The food is above average and the staff is quite friendly. When we visited the restaurant it was extremely warm (in November) and even though we asked the waiter they wouldn't open the door or turn down the temperature. That made the whole experience a lot less nice...

A nice place with good sushi. Good atmosphere with great selections. Liked the spicy TNT roll. Alot of bars in the surrounding area to have a drink after dinner.

This is a great little restaurant. Berlin doesn't seem to be overflowing with good sushi but this place is good and well priced. The sushi and sashimi are of a good quality. The hot food is excellent, especially the skewers. Staff are pleasant and helpful and speak English. Beware, it gets busy, very busy. You need to book early to... More

Walking down a quiet street in Mitte area we stumbled across this buzzing restaurant. We managed to squeeze in at the sushi bar - luckily a corner as there were 5 of us and there was a wait for tables. Food was particularly good and would definitely go again if ever in Berlin, hence the recommendation.

I ordered the 22 euro sushi set because I wanted good sushi. There are way more options and all my friends were pleased with their orders. There are cheaper options like the donburi. I would highly recommend this if you want good sushi. We waited for a while because we were a big group but usually they seat you quickly.... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
