We had a great evening in this restaurant with a large group of 25 persons. Very well taken care of the whole evening. Great spinach soup! Fantastic service and I would recomend to try this place.

This well-established restaurant is run by a charming husband and wife (he is the chef) and we had a delightful dinner here last week. The chef brought us a complimentary amuse-bouche of tasty duck liver pate. I had an outstanding lobster cream soup to start, and my husband a warm goat cheese salad. Our entrees were outstanding and everything is... More

I visit Berlin about five times a year and always make it a point to have dinner at Alt Luxemburg. The food is excellent (the sweatbreads are consistently the best I've ever had) and the service is polished and knowledgeable, yet friendly. While many other chefs seem to be hell-bent on outdoing each other in the number of exotic elements... More

The Alt Luxemburg is in a somewhat dull lookinf residential 5 story house, but do not let the modest exterior deceive you. It's one of the finest restaurants in Berlin. The setting is informal but stylish. The service is excellent with good knowledge of their wines. Try the Spätburgunder Rheinhessen for a light red. The food is really special with... More

We went there last summer. Very nice place, very nice staff, and very, very good food. We ordered a 5 course menu, but ended in a 9 course. The kitchen wanted us to taste some more. (for no ekstra cost)

My wife and I wanted to have a gourmet type of meal while visiting Berlin. This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, so we got them to book a table for us. Not that we wanted a michelin star restaurant, but a restaurant with ambitions. This restaurant was not the kind we had in mind, so we had to change... More

My Partner and I had a wonderful dining-experience on the 2nd of June 2012! The attention to detail was fantastic. Tasty nibbles were served before Dinner. We had five lovingly presented very delicious courses of food, served by a friendly small front of house team who knew what they were doing. The wines and drinks were excellent too. We also... More

We visited this restaurant on June 12th 2012. Whilst small and cosy, the decor is pleasing on the eye and the food is definately fine dining at its best. Each course comes to the table as though it has been especially prepared with your requirements and expectations. The quality of the food is unquestionably good, so too the accompanying wines,...
