This was my second visit to Entrecote. And this time it was even better, and food was marvellous, service was over the top and price was fair. Its probably the best piece of meat i have enjoyed, as long as I can remember. Well, everything was sooo god. And the waitors smiled, helped, poured your wine, and just made everything... More

Despite it being a Sunday night, I was pleased to have booked in advance as the restaurant filled with customers. Slightly disoriented by the prevalence of French as the spoken language! Can highly recommend the steak Chateaubriand. The only (slight) disappointment was that we were supplied automatically with Perrier without being offered Badoit as an alternative. Would have been nice... More

I visited Entrecôte on the 3rd Feb with 8 colleagues and had a fantastic meal. The food and wine were fantastic and at a reasonable price considering the quality. I would agree with some comments that the service might be considered to be slow....however, 1. It is a French restaurant and you are meant to enjoy the experience and 2.... More

We found this place by chance, as it's been just opposite Curry Wurst museum our little one was desperate to attend. The lunch was just perfect, including amazing proper thin and crispy French fries, great steak and "the best duck my husband ever had". We laped up two full baskets of bread and had to stop ourselves, as it was... More

We went to this restaurant to celebrate new years eve (and also a couple of days before) and were really happy to have chosen this place. The staff is very professional and the food is nice. If you're looking for a good French kitchen in Berlin, do not hesitate and go for Entrecote!

Lively atmosphere, large warm room, good buzz. We had a French waiter who gave us good recommendations on the wine - French of course. We started with 2 doz oysters from Bordeaux - they magnifique and then we all chose the Chateaubriand which was brought to the table and carved - it was melt in the mouth superbe! Looking forward... Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
