Great breakfast

Quick and organised service; super value for money. We tried three different breakfast options, and everyone was happy with their choice. If I am forced to name something that wasn't great, I could mention that the cappuccino was not quite strong enough.

A perfect way to spend the time before dinner. Great service, great mojito, fantastic nachos. We are always returning to this magical Berlin spot.

I loved the patio at Ubersee! Probably the best patio and service in Berlin. Great location, great nachos and very friendly staff. I will definitely be back here the next time I visit Berlin.

Unfortunately it was a bit too cold for us to eat outside. But boy I would love to spend an evening on this terrace once... Inside it is great as well, little bit cozy with great food and really pleasant service. Only advice to the owners: put some less bright lights in your bathrooms.

We had lunch on a Saturday and sat outside (cool but fleece blankets supplied). English menus offered if wished, very nice wine by the glass and delicious omelette. Others had what looked like a brunch plate with cheese, ham, fruit etc which I would try next time. Lovely mint tea with lemon and honey. The staff (and there were lots... More

Waited a good hour for cheap fast food that was not declared properly. Good for a coffee at the nice Paul-Lincke Ufer but do yourself a favour and don't eat anything there.

We had lunch at the Ubersee after browsing around the Turkish Market. The food was OK - I was slightly disappointed in the pumpkin casserole which was a bit cheesy but the boys had excellent curry wurst (again!). The service was excellent but the prices slightly high. They serve huge glasses of nice beer. Live music added to the lovely... More

I had dinner with some friends at this place spontaneusly. They have a nice outdoor terrace and the service is good. The food is nothing special but all the dishes are well presented and tasty. And it's not expensive at all. I would recommended for an easy dinner...

We had a tasty sunday brunch in this cafe. They offer it sundays until 6pm! You can sit outside by the water or inside. They are many variations of breakfest. Every one can find what he wants! The portions are big, fresh and tasty. The staff was very polite and taking care. The prices are cheap.

Thank Adri A

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
