Very good food and service

good solid italian fine dining restaurant - service was very attentive but not over bearing. Starters were very good, burrata was good, the risotto was very nice. All the pasta for mains were very nice as was the tiramasu. Not overly expensive for 4 people with 2 bottles of wine was around $160... read more

Had a super tasty high quality meal. Great service and wine as well. We were about 10 people and everyone really enjoyed themselves. They could use some work in the desert department :)

Rocket salad, razor clams make for great starters with excellent pastas, beef, lamb, duck that are flavorful and cooked to perfection. Excellent wine selection as well. Tables are well separated and conducive to conversation. Service was cheerful.

This restaurant was recommended by our Hotel and I am glad they did. When we arrived they knew it was my Birthday and had the table decorated, which was a lovely touch. The Restaurant was decorated beautifully in mainly white. The staff were attentive and very helpful with an extensive wine list. Prices range from reasonable to very expensive, so... More

I would say better than your basic Italian. No red sauce here, but more cerebral pasta offerings like stewed veal ravioli in a broth and parpadelle with a duck ragout. Service was very good, but prices were a bit on the high side.

This is a restaurant that is lively and seems to be full all the time. The food was very good (try the tagliata). A decent wine list. The service was efficient, friendly and quick. It's not really a place for a quiet, romantic evening. More a place to meet friends or colleagues.

We found this restaurant just because we were visiting that area for some shopping. Delicious food, our waiter was a guy from Rimini: terrific! He knows what hospitality and exceptional service mean. The manager was a little bit snobby. We will be back soon for sure.

Visited for new years day dinner. Did not book and managed to get a table with no waiting time. Food was excellent, however, service was poor. Our starters came and our waiter hadn't taken our wine order from us. Not attentive with topping up glasses and clearing plates. Would go back as good food outweighed poor service.

The restaurant is very centrally situated and is quite large. While our service was attentive it was distinctly unsmiling. We ordered fairly ordinary dishes and felt that the food was really no better than average. The surroundings are nice, although where we were the tables were quite close. Not impressive enough to return.

Enjoyed the place a lot! Has nice atmosphere, located in the city centre, has nice menu and amazing selection of wines which are available for inspection behind a glass wall in the back. From the dishes, had buratta with tomatoes - perfectly balanced, not too much tomatoes and not too much basil. As a main course - risotto with fried... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
