Good ice cream & cozy café

There's no doubt thag Häagen-Dazs is a great place to eat ice cream. I usually come here for their Chocolat brownie explosion or cookie crunch. Its very delicious and the appearance of its ice cream is made very beautiful. The price is a bit too expensive for an ice cream. But I think its very... read more

Great ice cream, right across from the Marriott, very friendly and great lounge area. They allowed me to try a few ice cream flavors before making my final decision. If you are American, remember to ask if water is gas or still. I could not tell the difference.

We stopped in here for something sweet after lunch, and it did not dissapoint. To me Haagen Dasz is the best ice cream. My boyfriend also got a waffle with his which I tried and this was also delicious. The staff are very friendly and we were happy to relax inside and enjoy our sweets.

I normally don't rate ice cream parlors but this one is just catty corner to the Marriott and after a few days of business meals and fancy dinners it is wonderful to just go over and sit down with a lovely milk shake or ice cream sundae and watch the world go by. I stopped at this delightful place more... More

When you're in Germany, the land of great desserts, Haagen Dasz is still the best ice cream. You can always rely on it to be good.

We went here to escape the early afternoon heat. What great ice cream and coffee. The service was a little sow but the quality of the ice cream made up for that. The coffee was genuine Italian made properly on a full size Italian Expresso machine.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
