I enjoyed my visit to La Tia Rica. They have a nice little place on a back street in the neighborhood. the food was very good, especially the chef's taste they give you in the beginning. we had a giant rain storm and they adapted very well and moved the entire group of outside diners inside. I would go back... More

This is a superbly run family restaurant . It was our first experience of a Chilean restaurant but was similar food to Peruvian ones we have visited . They have a basic menu but also have about 5 specials , everything we had was amazing in a lovely decorated very friendly intimate restaurant . All the wine is from Chile... More

Had such a nice chilled out meal here sitting outside on a lovely warm evening. The food (and wine!) was awesome and we felt really full afterwards - just what we needed after a day of travelling.

We had the pleasure of enjoying an evening at this very nice establishment. . Warm and welcoming atmosphere. We followed the Chef´s recommendations and found the food excellent both in apperance and taste. We give La Tá Rica our sincere recommendation. Fred & Maria Petrini.

This was our second visit to this restaurant and like the first time, it was amazing. The service was friendly and the food was excellent. I had the ceviche as an appetizer, the fish tasted so fresh and the presentation of the food is very appealing. It was the best Ceviche I ever tasted. The restaurant also has a very... More

Visited this restaurant three times over the past year and each time I have not been disappointed. The grilled lamb on garbanzos with chorizo was delicious, as was the shrimp civiche and empanadas. The Merluza con Almejas (hake) on the other hand seemed a little underseasoned. Regardless, it seemed clear the restaurant uses nothing but fresh ingredients, Reservations are a... More

We went here in Berlin over NYE and wow, am I glad we did! The staff were warm and friendly and the food was out of this world - tasty empanadas and beautifully tangy ceviche. However the wine is the star. I had a beautiful carmenere that was that good, we bought a bottle. I only wish we had bought... More

We went there for dinner on a busy New Year's Eve. We didn't have a reservation as we were visiting Berlin just for a couple of nights but the staff offered us a table anyway so we were really pleased. The food was fantastic and the quality wine complemented the meal. Definitely worth a try!

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
