Good italian food

We tried to go to one of the top 3 italian restaurants but they were all occupied so finally we went to da Gianni. We were suprised. The food was good, very nice friendly staff. It is not expensive and food is very good quality.

We loved our little neighborhood trattoria. While being a little disappointed to dine inside, I was instantly charmed when the waiter brought the daily specials menu to our table in the form of a little man statue holding the list. We ordered pasta dishes, pizza, and specialty drinks, and were treated to complimentary bruschetta as our food was being prepared.... More

We loved this restaurant! Great pasta, pizza and Tiramisu. The owner is a wonderful host and his wife is a fabulous cook! We enjoyed our meal so much that we ate hear twice during our stay. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
