It pains me to write this review as I wanted to enjoy Föllerei so very much. My husband and I went to Föllerei for my birthday dinner. After much deliberation about cuisine, location and price, Föllerei was chosen as the dinner venue, in no small part due to the string of glowing reviews on Tripadvisor. Upon our arrival we were... I really loved this place. Great food and service and a really convivial atmosphere. You have the sense that all the ingredients and wine are of the highest quality. It's a 20 minute taxi ride from down-town but well worth the trip. It's the sort of restaurant you would love to have in your neighborhood.

I found this restaurant here on TripAdvisor and I decided to try it. The restaurant inside is small, we ate outside. Good food and good beer with low price. I ordered beef but they didn't ask about the cooking.

We loved this restaurant!! The customer service was amazing and the food very inventive and delicious! It is a bit off the beaten track but worth the trek. There are also some lovely pubs nearby!

First off: book ahead. When we arrived every single table in this tiny restaurant was reserved and deservedly so. An absolute triumph from my slamming the door accidentally upon arrival to when I kissed the owner's hand on the way out to congratulate her for the perfect evening. She took all the time in the world to go through everything... More

You're unlikely to just stumble upon this wonderful little restautant in Berlin's Neokoln district, so a word to the wise - Book online and book ahead, its worth every bite. Its a bit like sitting in a family living room, small tables, low lighting and a relaxed pace. The food is second to none too. I started with a simple... More

A fantastic way to end our first night in Berlin. The food and the service were both excellent. Good value for money. I recommend this restaurant.

A pearl in a sea of fast food restaurants. You can probably eat at half the price or less at at least 50 restaurants within 200 meters distance. But NOT so well. Food really cared for, my wifes steak one of the best she has had for years (and she is quite

Really good, authentic food but never stodgy. Excellent sauerkraut and a very decent beer on tap. Staff were very friendly and helpful with the non-German speakers. Nice ambience, well-decorated without being too fussy.

Staying in Neukolln

Neighborhood Profile
Neukolln
No Berlin neighborhood is more popular with the young and jet-set crowd than the old worker's district of Neukölln. With so many Turkish settled here, the area became known as "Little Istanbul." Today the percentage of foreigners is still high and visitors still frequent the Turkish shisha bars. In the daytime, they also visit the designer shops and sit by the canal in one of the street cafés up and down Westerstrasse or at Maybachufer, having a beer and waving to the sightseeing boats as they float by. But at night, Neukölln is dominated by increasingly young, alternative, and international crowds. This is particularly evident in the northern section of the district where there are many bars, funky clubs, galleries and restaurants. There, the night never seems to end.
