One of the best cheesecakes I've ever had!

Stumbled upon this place and could not resist since I am known cheesecake addict. What resulted was one of the most delicious pieces of cheesecake I have ever had. If you pass it by don't fail To stop and give it a try! I came back twice during my stay in Berlin!

In Berlin is not easy to find bakeries as good as the ones you find in other areas of Germany. Specially for this reason we were really happy when we realised there was this new place looking good. Finally we had the opportunity to try 2 of the cakes they serve there. Simply delicious! Original cakes that remind me a... More

The cafe is small and quaint with a great variety of cheesecakes. We had the passion fruit and the New York cheesecakes - both were amazing! Some of the best I have ever tasted. The service was a bit slow but we weren't in a rush anyway.

We had late afternoon cheesecake and tea here. The New York cheescake with caramel was lovely, and really filling - I couldn't finish it. Cheesecake and drinks for two people was about the same you'd pay for coffee and cake in Costa in the UK so I'd say it was reasonably priced. Tiny seating area though, we nabbed a seat... More

My friend and I had to wait about 10 minutes in line for 2 coffees and a slice of cheesecake here - but it was a sunny Sunday afternoon, the place was packed and after consuming said cheesecake, it was clear to see why! We had the American cheesecake with dulce de leche on top and it was divine :)

The place has one of the biggest spreads of cheesecakes and other desserts. All the ones we tried were basically heavenly. One of the places on the definitely go to list if in Germany.

I was taken to this little cafe today and was amazed by the variety of cheesecakes on offer! It took a while to come to a decision which to choose, and I wasn't disappointed. Next time I am in Berlin I will definitely be returning here!

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
