Great cheesecake

A small cafe/bakery that make their own cheesecakes - not your regular German types, these are delicate, fantastic combinations of flavors. Highly recommended. The place itself is quite small, and a bit dainty - so not a place to hang out.

My friend and i waited 20 minutes for our cake and coffee. All they had to do was serve but still could not manage to do so. Service is terrible and we won't go there again.

Great coffee shop but very busy! its quite small inside but there are some outside tables if you don't mind the smokers. If you just want the cake they also do take-away! Two coffee's and two cakes about 18 euros. Take the M5 tram from Hauptbanhof or Alexanderplatz and get off at S-bahn Oranienburger Tor, you'll see the sign for... More

The iced latte I had was lovely, my partner said their tea selection was beautiful. The inside is beautiful decorated and prices very good for what you get! Go there now! You won't... More

This place was well located, so it was easy to get there. The cafe was small, there were no places to sit, when I visited the cafe with my girlfriend. There were few seats inside and outside the cafe. So we ordered some of the cheesecakes to go. The cheesecakes were tasty and the prices ranged from 3€ to 5€,... More

Huge portions and an impressive range of flavours and configurations make this a great place for a sweet treat and a coffee.

Okay, this place is a little girly, with its pink walls and polka-dotted wait staff, but you're as likely to see beefy guys here as little old ladies. Part of the reason is the aroma as you walk by, something like baking shortbread, all buttery. There are a lot of good dessert shops in the Mitte section of Berlin--Lindner's in... More

I was sent to this place by a friend with a sweet tooth. The cafe itself is small and unassuming with not much sitting space. It is well situated close to the Synagogue with some very nice boutique shops in the area. The variety of cakes was not huge, but being a fan of cheesecakes, it really was a tough... More

When a friend of mine, living in Berlin, told me that there was a place famous for cheesecake, I decided that it was a must-to-see. The place is nice and neat, and as soon as you enter you'll see a big show window with many varieties of cheesecake...hard to choose! all of them looks tasty and perfect! We ordered a... More

Stumbled upon this place and could not resist since I am known cheesecake addict. What resulted was one of the most delicious pieces of cheesecake I have ever had. If you pass it by don't fail To stop and give it a try! I came back twice during my stay in Berlin!

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
