Fantastic eatery. The dining room is huge and set with trestles and tables in a very rustic setting. Waiting staff are in traditional dress and a band was playing throughout for the enjoyment of everyone especially those on the dance floor. Service was super efficient and food - mostly pork - was to die for (I've never before had crackling... More

We booked a table at the homepage, which worked perfectly. Really huge place, and crowdy even on a Sunday. Very impressed with the food. Big portions, quick served, tasty and fresh. GOOD! Schweinehaxe was gigantic (>1 kg) and I recommend it warmly. Pricelevel is fair. Impressed that they also offered spargelmeny. Spargel was perfectly cooked. We came back also the... More

Very reasonably priced, great service and atmosphere - good for family as well as couples and party groups. The pork knuckle and the roast pork were excellent.

A few yards from Alexanderplatz on the main drag of Mitte (Karl LiebnitzStrasse sits the Berlin outppst of Munich's famous Hofbrauhaus replete with delicious schnitzel and a host of great beer in all sizes. Between the accordion players and the "happy" beer drinking diners, a fun time is sure to be had and the food measures up quite nicely as... More

The place is very big with 2 floors. In the first floor is the main restaurant and in the second there are a lot of TV screens where you watch mainly sports (football matches) and also you can eat and drink beers. It's near Alexanderplatz (north side of the square-about 200m far) and we went there to see a big match with... Maybe it is just our taste but we wanted real German food to try, so the tripadvisor app showed good reviews on this restaurant which was in the neighborhood of Alexander Platz. We entered and it was in a huge hall full of people. We ordered the platter with all the various meat which were on the menu. By doing... More

Visited the Hofbrau when staying at a nearby hotel. It is a tremendous place to have a beer and some good satisfying food. Of course, it is very 'touristy' but that doesn't stop you from enjoying the excellent meals (served in double quick time) and sampling the large number of different beers that are available. Plenty of music and people... More

We had a really good time at this place! It felt like being at a real German festival.. There was music playing and beer flowing, people dancing and singing - and it was only a Tuesday night! The place is huge so even if very busy it doesn't feel overcrowded. Sure it may be a little touristy but it's definitely... More

Someone recommend the Hofbrau Berlin before we travelled to German. We were not disappointed. We pre-booked a table for ten and had a fantastic fun evening. We ate, drunk, sung and danced the evening away. I would not think that you need to pre book as it is a large venue. They served German food and huge glasses of beer.... More
