We enjoyed a really good evening here. The steins were good value - had the Weiss Beer really good value at about €7 for a litre. Had a few and a few more. The crispy Port Knuckle was really tasty and filling - loved it. The band was good and it was a fun evening, nice friendly atmosphere and good service... More

The atmosphere inside the restaurant was really amazing, I'm not sure if this is only the case because of the Christmas and festive season but the band that played the music was very lively and fun. Food was amazing, I ordered the potato soup and the crispy Pork knuckle whilst my brother ordered the traditional Vienna Schnitzel and they were... More

We came here on our first night in Berlin mainly because it was close to the Christmas markets that we'd been visiting and because we wanted to go somewhere German. You sit on long benches so could end up sitting with other people if it's busy. I made a bad choice and had the goulash which I wasn't impressed with... More

We loved this place so much, we came back twice in one weekend. The steins were good value (around the €7 mark), the atmosphere was really festive, the staff were friendly and efficient and we really enjoyed our €3.50 currywurst (part of the lunch special). A great place to visit if you want to sample the local fare and beer.

The atmosphere is good, the beer is good, the food was disappointing (and relatively expensive), the music typical beer hall type, and dancing is allowed. A good night altogether.

While my heart is with Hofbrau in Munich, I appreciate this massive beer hall in Berlin. It's a fun space and great to meet friends, family and big groups with the same menu as you find in Munich of traditional Bavarian delicacies.

We asked if we could just stop here for a drink to which the waitress told us "we don't care what you have", obviously not as after more than 10 minutes no one had come to ask us what we would like so we left.

This place was such a laugh. The food was lovely- proper German fayre of delicious meat and well cooked veg. The portions are massive!! The place has a live band and as it gets later everyone gets up dancing their dinner off!! Although it had a bit of a gift shop it was not at all touristy when we went... More

We passed this a few times and decided to go in and was not disappointed, good variety of food and beer plentiful, with the music going on around you.

We booked a table online for a Thursday evening during December. We were glad we did as the place was really busy at only 7:30pm. Booking is super easy and is all online through their website. As two girls we were a bit anxious about the place being full of stag do's or groups of lads but we were nicely... More
