So glad we came across this place!

Myself and my husband had a wonderful dinner here! The food was fresh and unbelievably tasty! We were pleasantly suprised when the bill came too! Try the Ga Chien Man!

We were there on friday evening, busy day but still not THAT busy, since there were an average of three free (big) tables during the whole time of our stay. Within two hours the waiter came not less than 12 times to rudely check if we were first ready to order, than ready to pay and go (we came at... More

Dining on the terrace with friend and family. Spring rolls to start off and then the roasted duck. Sitting at the long tables on the street we had a good dinner here. Very good value, taste and service. Go there on a sunny afternoon or summer evening.

This places gets busy so you may have to wait for a table but they'll fit you in as soon as they can. Friendly and efficient and food was fantastic. Cheapest meal we had in Berlin.

We went here last year and loved it so much we went back within the week. The food was lovely, i've been to Vietnam and it was very authentic. The summer roles in particular were great. The food came quick drinks were good and the whole place lovely. Even better, the bill came and it was so cheap. 2 courses... More

We were in Berlin for a week and ate here twice. The service is excellent -- friendly and helpful. We shared starters and mains, which isn't that easy but worth it. Cooking is high quality, with nice use of herbs and spices. Very highly recommended.

Vietnamese restaurants are second in number only to döner shops in Berlin. These asian eateries offering simple, affordable and tasty fare are present on every street where restaurants are found. Rarely authentic, their highly Westernised dishes rarely bearing only vague resemblance to their Indochinese counterparts, the food found here can be traced back to a time when Vietnamese refugees set-up... We visited this place on a Monday evening and had an absolutely wonderful experience. It's worth to go a bit out of the center for this one. The place is designed nicely and is very modest, in a good way. The atmosphere inside is lovely and warm, and the food is delicious. Prices are excellent as well. Try it!

I have tried almost all the vietnamese restaurants aroung the area (Prenzlauer Berg) and Vietnam Village is one of the best. The prices are low (around 7 euros the main plate) in regards to the quality of the dishes. Most of the dishes (starters and main) that I have tried were really good. I love the crispy duck with coconut... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
