Brauhaus Spandau is a brewery, restaurant and hotel. While I can't vouch for the hotel I can say that the brewery delivers some very good beer and the restaurant offers good German food in a quaint interior and a nice exterior beer garden setting. I enjoyed the dark spezialbier which was fresh and tasty. The beer complimented the pork loin... More

We have been to Berlin for several days and used to dine in the touristic area. The food quality was always a bit "touristic" and not satisfying. The last evening we spent in Brauhouse Spandau. Fresh and tasty beer, amazing genuine local food, very quick service and affordable prices. Thanks a lot for very pleasant evening spent in Brauhouse Spandau.

Spandau is on the outskirts of Berlin and I (like many others) was attracted by the promise of an old town and citadelle. These elements were a little bit of a disappointment but one that was quickly drowned in some micro-brewed beer and pork ribs! Brauhaus Spandau is every bit the picture I had in my head for what I... My second visit to this place and yet against didn't disappoint. The beer is excellent and the Golash was the best I've ever tasted. we travelled by U bahn from Berlin city to the Olympic stadium, did the tour, then got the s bahn to Spandau. We then jumped on another u bahn to the Alstadt. The brewery is a... More

The Brahaus came recommended to us from coworkers that live in the Spandau/Tegel Airport part of the city. I'm glad we received their tip on this restaurant/brew house as I was very satisfied with my meal and drink there. Overall, the ambience was very warm and inviting. You can easily sustain a conversation without being drowned up by noise and... More

Have visited a few of these great traditional places across Germany and this is no exception. Located next to the old Citadel and was a welcome rest point after walking around there. We took advantage of their currywurst with some lovely fresh beer. Impressive and cosy place to visit. If in the area this is a must.

Very German pub with a couple of great beers and excellent food. Highly recommended. You have to try the Currywürst!

Visited several times. Excellent meats with quality much above average. Beer is very good, too. However, some extra waiters would be useful: there are few of hem, they are real pros, but sometimes you need to wait a bit more. The building itself is very nice. Summarizing: go here for excellent typical German food.

The menu is very limited, but the kitchen is not able to cook even those. We ate some sausages and one sausage salad. The salad was worst I've ever got - there was a lot vinegar (probably like a sauce) and you can imagine that slices of sausage and vinegar is not the best combination. I could not eat it.... More

Each time I come to Berlin, I go at least once to Brauhaus Spandau. Probably there are some places in Berlin where you can find better beer, but I haven't found any. This place is a brewery not only by name, but they really make beer there by their own recipes, and the tables are placed around two huge copper... More
