Been there with a friend of mine. We loved the food and the drinks. We had the house salad, it was colourful, fresh an yummy. I had lovely yoghurt dink with fresh mint in it. The cherry crumble is also to die for. What we don´t like is that the menu very small, it doesn´t mention the other dishes and... More

I don't want to write this review as the food looked good but we ended up leaving after a 50 minute wait and not even a simple apology. It was busy(about ten tables in there) on a Saturday morning but bunch this is their market yeah? We eventually ordered and proceeded to wait nearly 50minutes not even our teas were... More

Small and on a non descript corner in Berlin, this cafe has a small breakfast menu with only a few options. Very small and almost antique tables and chairs - I sat in the window. We ordered scrambled eggs 'cold cuts' and it was delicious and came with kind of garlic bacon - really tasty. We went on to order... More

Great food was further embellished by faultless service. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and a simple but well crafted menu made for throughly enjoyable dining experience.

So I went in to the Factory Girl shop in Berlin and it is in a great area with lots around. They only take cash and the food was really good. Nice desserts too. Coffee wasn't quite as nice as the coffee from the Barn nearby. I am giving this a poor review as I had my phone stolen off... More

Is this the home of the hardest working waitress in Berlin? Perhaps. We stopped for lunch after a long morning desperate for some healthy ish lunch. A great salad and a lovely board of meats and cheese later and we were completely satisfied. The waitress served the entire cafe at breakneck speed, with a smile and charm even apologising for... Although Factory Girl is located on a street full of attractive restaurants, it immediately caught our eye. It looked good from the outside - we liked the decorating, the lighting, the music- pretty much everything about the atmosphere. When our food arrived we were very pleased by it, too. A very nice place to visit, and we will happily return.

I only had a cake and a juice there, but I was received by a great stuff member that really smiles, was polite and did our juice with so much heart. Especially in Berlin good service isn't a standard, so this was definitely one of my top services in a cafe. Internet was working well and I love the interior... More

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
