Excellent food and drinks

One of the nicest coffee shops in Charlottenburg. They serve cold and warm food and drinks. No alcohol. Their food is fresh, partially organic and their are specialised in home made tarts. It is always crowded. If you want to go there over the weekend, make sure you take a reservation otherwise you... read more

Having read the reviews on Tripadvisor we sought out this simple yet pretty little cafe near Savignyplatz station. Lit candles for breakfast, simple yet very effective. I had the cheese breakfast and honestly I couldn't finish it. Lovely though. Coffee was great as well! Enjoy!

We had the best german breakfast in this really nice homely cafe. The coffee was delicious and we shared the breakfast for 2 which was more than enough and with lots of different nice cheese, ham an salami for 15€ with juice included. Great and friendly place to have breakfast and to enjoy the nice atmosphere.

Very nice setting, tables outside as well as in. We preferred the outside, weather was very nice and our server was very friendly. My wife and I had the spinach and feta omlette. Very good. The atmoshere is quiet along a street (not a main street) and feels very european. Highly recommend this bistro for breakfast.

We have gone to this cafe every day for breakfast since we found it. Everything we tried, including the omelettes, the meat and cheese dish, and the yogurt were excellent. If you eat outside, expect to be visited by bees, but they are only a minor annoyance.

This is a real secret jewel in Berlin - small place, decorated in vintage style (you can buy all the objects and pictures :-), with beautifull flower arrangements, and most of all: very nice waiters, exquisite food, home made "Kuchen" and teas. There is also WiFi and you can relax near the famous Ku'damm. Have been here many times, it... More

Here's the place for breakfast in a city that likes its breakfast - except for Sunday when you should do brunch at Pasternak. Pleasant people, fresh fruit, good tea, a cheese selection that had the French beside us having to pretend they were unimpressed while scoffing the lot.

While exploring the busy Ku'daam neighborhood, we were blindly searching for an informal lunch spot. We wandered in and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. The young woman who waited on us was very welcoming and patient translating the menu. The food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. My green salad was the best I had in Berlin. As others... More

My friends and I were directed to this place by a local after wondering around in search of a café that served egg dishes. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly, although we did have to wait awhile before being seated as it was extremely busy. We were given a choice between the breakfast menu and the lunch menu, we opted... More

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
