Excellent place for breakfast

We went here for breakfast before visiting the zoo (about a 15 min walk away) and what a good decision that was! I ordered the bacon omelette which was delicious, you get a large omelette filled with meat and veg with a side salad and warm roll, all for a reasonable price. My boyfriend ordered the... read more

Came looking for a real German style breakfast and was disappointed. Had read other peoples comments and cannot agree. Yes the things on the plate were prettily arranged, but bacon n'egg it aint ! Service was slow. Construction going on overhead did nothing for any ambiance and neither did the water coming down from above. I had NO success finding... More

Great breakfast option. The selection of dishes is very good. I decided for the muesli with fruits and Greek yogurt and they were very tasty. My husband took the spinach omelet which was extremely big. Only the coffee (cappuccino) was a bit tasteless, but still OK for the German standards. The atmosphere is also very pleasant.

Very nice breakfast, seating outside, at a reasonable price. My wife and I shared a bacon and cheese omelet, and 1990 cheese, meat and fruit plate. More than we could eat. The omelet was accompanied by a good green salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The bread was excellent. The cheese and meat platter was fresh.next time we'll just... More

On a quiet, pretty cobbled street in the cool area of Charlottenburg, this cafe is a perfect place to chill over a lovely fresh breakfast. The menu is small, but what they do offer is done very well. Lovely fresh fruit & salad garnishes to the dishes just adds something extra. The service is very polished & above all else... More

Try the breakfast!! Wow, what a breakfast for the really hungry person. Bit old style and very good service. But don't miss.

This was a wonderful breakfast café with the best coffee we have had in Berlin. We took the cheese breakfast and the 1900 breakfast. Both were delicious with a very generous amount of food. We will definitely be back to eat the 1900 breakfast for two with a lot of coffee. Service was very friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing lunch in this place. I ordered some pasta and it was great, delicious and quite large in quantity. One of the guys who with me wasn't so lucky, he ordered some Meatballs, and for him, they were so so... Despite the fact that it is a small cafe, with only a few tables, the place is... More

We visited this cafe twice for breakfast through Tripadvisor recommendations and were not disappointed. A lovely cafe hidden at the end of the street. Quirky, homely, bohemian style place with fantastic food. Huge portions and very tasty. Would recommend the fresh fruit, home made granola and yogurt, also the spinach omelette, which was the size of a dinner plate! Lovely... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
