Great place to go for a quick feed, delicious schnitzel burger with home made fries and plenty of sauces to choose from. Fast and friendly service, not much room to sit and gets quite busy, but definitely worth a visit!

We wandered across that ancient covered bridge to seek out this much lauded but apparently well secreted schnitzel place. Why? Well, for one, we love schnitzel. Moreover, tourists do as the locals do or at least what they think the locals do and on that point, we are no less gullible than the rest. Our schnitzels were not nearly as... More

Visited this place with a friend for some late night schnitzel. Was not disappointed! Great schnitzel! Perfectly cooked. Not greasy at all. Homemade coleslaw is awesome too. Go! You will love it!

This is a small, funky restaurant with fantastic schnitzel. Everything is freshly made with the veal pounded in the back kitchen & individually pan fried at the front kitchen then set on a paper towel so it remains crispy & not oily.. We ordered Weiner Schnitzel (huge), hot potato salad & beer – dinner for 2 was $37. Dinner is... More

I went to Scheers Schnitzel with a group of 8. Grade students. The purpose of our visit beneath getting something to eat, was to experience traditional german food. A spicy soup made of carrots and ginger as a first course was a great start to our visit. The main course a big Schnitzel with potatosalad/fries was just superb. It came... More

Thank goodness we found this place - just across the road from Plus Hostel Berlin and East Side Gallery and the best, cheapest schnitzel in all Berlin. There are a number of different sides and you can get it either in a bun and toppings or with fries and salads, with the cheapest option being just 3.50. The chips were... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
