A little bit of a trek to get here from our hotel but worth if for what was a very tasty little lunch. It's cheap, getting served doesn't take an age and it's certainly better than going to grab a nasty burger meal from a fast food chain. Make sure you familiarise yourself with where it is on a map... Got here a bit early so Hung around half an hour till it opened, I'm glad I did. Was the best schnitzel I've ever had, very tender meat, loads of chips and a nice salad for €5. My lemonade was €1.80. Overall a great meal which filled me up for the rest of my day wandering about

Great little find near our hotel (nhow Berlin) and the East Side Gallery - quick and easy food, plenty to choose from, and all self service. Schnitzel, salad, chips, and drink, all for 5(ish) euros. We tried to go once but it was closed, so headed back the next day and luckily it was open.

It was very disappointing, we went all the way to this place and it was bloody closed. was it closed on Easter Monday! I would not recommend my friends to go there, it was messy & full of drunk people on the street.

I had never eaten a schnitzel in Germany before, so looked up "best cheap schnitzel in Berlin" on the Net, and it sent me to Scheers. For just €5 and a ~10 min wait, I got schnitzels, homemade fries and a leaf salad with lots of grated carrot mixed in. They also recommended I try their home made sauces so... More

Me and my companion decided to visit this establishment after reading the reviews on trip advisor. It's was located right at the start/end of the easy side gallery and close was extremely close to our lodgings at the PLUS Hostel. It is a rather small and worn down cafeteria style spot, with a limited menu offering snitzel in various guises.... More

Just five euros for pork schnitzel with fries and salad. For the budget conscience, you can't do better in Berlin. It's right at Warschauer Strasse, so you will pass it on the way to or from the bar at some point, since it's at the crossroads between Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. I just wish they were open late night.

I want to quickly highlight that if you're in a hurry then this place is probably not your best option. Due to the sheer amount of orders we actually had to wait for 15 minutes until we got served. Customer service isnt the best but its a bunch of young kids doing their best and thats all you can ask... More

Found this place via Trip Advisor and although we managed to miss it first time round we found it the 2nd! We had schnitzel and frites for 2 and a beer each for €14.50 an was most definitely worth it. Nice atmosphere and close to East Side Gallery. Worth a visit and don't let the outside put you off.
