If you are or not vegan, you must stop at the Sun Day Burgers in Kreuzberg. This will provide you with the opportunity to visit the beautiful Markethall and also to taste some of the most delicious vegan burger ever. All the friends who were with me are not vegan/vegetarian but were equally amazed by these mouthwatering burgers....a healthy and... More

I was here for lunch and i had the vegan burger with tofu, beets, alfalfa sprouts, and some other goodies ans it was delicious. I chose the Mango-Chutney as a sauce and it was so good!! The burger was really tasty, don't get me wrong, but the DESSERT?? It was out of this world. I had the raw avocado-lime-bite and... More

All the food I had here was amazing. The most delicious and surprising was the vegan cheesecake, which was better than any dairy cheesecake I've had! I don't know how they did it and I have been craving it ever since.

We enjoyed the vegan burger with lots of vegetables and home made sauce, just the bread was a bit too dry. But a great alternative for the greasy meat at Mauer park. We would definitely go back!

They only serve the burger, but since it's so good, it doesn't matter. The ingredients the use in the burger works very well together. There is always a line because it's so good. Sometimes you see there's no line at the surrounding food places, but a 10 meter line at Sun Day Burgers (despite line it doesn't take long, they... More

As a recent vegan convert I was very impressed at the vegan burger. Yummy. The demand was so strong at the flea market location that I actually got one of the last servings before they literally ran out. I wish the. Best of luck in spreading the word.

Vegan fast food. There is a limited selection but who cares when they taste so good. We visited the one on EisenBahnStrasse 42/43, Kreuzberg, Berlin. It is not easy to find - watch the house numbers - it is inside the indoor market. Top Tip: If you are travelling with non vegans or vegetarians there are plenty of other stalls.... More

These vegan burgers are amazing (that compliment comes from a meat-eater)! At the Mauer Park Flea Market on Sundays and in Kreuzburg on Friday and Saturday. Very inexpensive (about 3 euros) and very tasty. Also, they will give you some fliers for other vegan fare around the city if you ask them..

Neighborhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
