Great surprise

Strawling around in Ku'damm area we felt a bit late for finding a nice place to eat. I don't eat Asian that often and Vietnamese food i can hardly remember the last time i had it ... Serving only few tables at 14.30 Pho did a great job. We mainly focussed on starters and soups and discovered a... read more

My partner and I shared a few appetizers, such as the banh xeo, which was very good albeit a bit oily. We both had the pho, which was a very generous portion of warm, delicious pho. Excellent tender meat, meatballs and garnishes. For dessert we had the vietnamese compote and fried banana. The fried banana could've used some extra flavour... More

We came here because it was close to where we were staying and we were exhausted after a big day trip to Dreseden. It was like a beacon in the night and we were drawn to it. We walked in and received a friendly greeting. There were people at a few tables but it wasn't buzzing. That was okay, we... More

Nice interiors, very friendly service, good atmosphere. Food could sometimes be a bit more flavoursome ( I wouldn't necessarily go back to those vegetarian summer rolls as a starter) but overall it's good, honest fare. I like it and will definitely come here again.

I've dined at Pho 56 quite a few times and tried many of their dishes. I was very impressed by the food - truly the best Vietnamese I have had (outside of Vietnam), and their prices are quite reasonable. Wonderful location, relaxing ambiance and very authentic dishes. Ideal for business, couples, solo, or evening get together - probably not the... More

I go here for lunch regularly. Service is friendly and the cooking feels authentic. Nice atmosphere too. I recommend duck with red curry - a tasty dish with fresh vegetables for 8,40. Can't beat it!

Nice setup inside but as the weather was pleasant, most patrons were sat outside. The food was generous in portion, quite tasty and great care had gone into presentation. I found the service was very friendly and all in all good value for money.

We did not have a clue about vietnamese food and are noe evaluating this restaurant against other vietn. rest. BUT we got fried chicken and -duck with delicious tasty vegetables and sauces. A very tasty meal, looked great, and for a more than reasonable price. Scores top marks in value for money. Highly recommended.

I'm not familiar with Vietnamese food but greatly enjoyed the main I had; my wife enjoyed her's too. Ingredients were fresh and flavoursome. Went for a late lunch after a much delayed flight from London and found this place just around the corner from our Hotel Bregenz. Service was ok and English spoken.
