Nice French restaurant in Berlin

To be honest, we had planned to go another restaurant closeby (Marjellchen, see my review there) but couild not get a table there. So we ended up at Reste Fidèle, which turned out to be a very nice, cosy French restaurant. The food and wine were nice, pleasant staff.

Seeking a good restaurant for the last supper of our weekend with friends in Berlin, we stumbled on this beautifully presented restaurant on Sunday afternoon, en route back to the excellent Hotel California where we were staying, from the train station. We ventured inside, where we were warmly greeted, and booked our table for that evening. At the chosen hour... More

One of the best meals in Berlin. The service was 100%. The food was very very good, we had fresh Oysters and French Onion Soup followed by Duck L'Orange. The flavour and portions were excellent, couldn't fault it. Thank you Reste Fidele.

Glad we tried this French restaurant after a long tiring shopping day in Kurfurstendamm street. Restaurant was cozy, old but authentic style with French music which reminds me of Ratatouille movie?. Very nice atmosphere indeed. Escargot was excellent. Very tasty and top notch. Main entree was green pepper sauce beef steak. It was perfectly cooked in medium, very tender and just... More

I can write quite a story about this restaurant. But bad staff, overpriced food, drink owner and bad french food sums it up nicely... Not woth the money, just walk to the Italian restaurant a few minutes further..

Since it was our first night in Berlin and we were exhausted, my wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant and very glad we did. The kir royals were exquisite, the baked Camembert absolutely wonderful, and our dinners were delicious. The waiter was quite friendly trying to speak to us in Spanish, but mostly English. We truly enjoyed our lovely... More

Located on Bleib Treu Strasse. As it was a nice, warm evening we were seated outside. Staff was very friendly (we had a hug, when we left). Food was very nice. The price was a little higer than we expected. My husband had Canard d'Orange. This didn't come with any kind of potatoes. We paid 3,50 Euros for potatoes. My... More

I believe I am slightly overrating this place but objectively I think it deserves 4 circles. This is a little French, so they tout it, restaurant just a few block from the Ku'damm. The food is passably good but for the price should be better. The madam , I don't think is French, or at least my French is so... More

We chose the set menu which... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
