Nice Multi cuisine once you find it

Was looking for a quick spice bite in and around Leipzig Strasse. Did not have to search a lot but this is a little 'hidden' in the sense that it is in the mall under the Novotel hotel. Clean interiors and lots of space. Has sushi, Indian, and Thai-like cuisine nd relatively inexpensive . When I... read more

While in Berlin, we visited this restaurant twice. The food we had was delicious. The restaurant is also very good value for money. Although yuo may have a little trouble finding it, once you are there you will love it. The food is authentic Indian and the staff are all very friendly. We will definetely go back.

The location might be a bit off, but the food was quite good. Staff friendly and helpful. We were here during the summer so sitting outside was nice. Not until I asked for the bathroom I realized the huge space indoors that empty which felt a bit creepy. It is easy to find great Indian food in Berlin and this... More

The menu has a good range but the food quality was very average. Prices were also slightly on the steep side

The set meal was more than generous and very tasty. It is very reasonably priced and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine.

If you are looking forward to some delicious, decently-priced and good quality Indian food, this is a perfect place to be! Located quite centrally, this restaurant has a overall good atmosphere, light indian music being played, making it all quite comfortable and cozy. The prices are also very reasonable and the taste of food is simply awesome. I must not... More

As a British Asian my expectations of Indian food in Germany were not high. However, this Punjabi run restaurant was great - service was good with good spoken English and the food was very tasty and not at all greasy. I would definitely return if I were in the area.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
