The food was good. Good value for money. Very fee people in the restaurant so the atmosphere was a bit lacking.

Nothing glam or trendy just damn fine food and service. My schnitzel was the size of my plate with creamy mushroom sauce and beautiful potatoes and sauerkraut, worth at least one meal in your Berlin agenda!

If you want a quiet tete-a-tete for two this might not be the place. It's a handsome enough restaurant but they seem to take a continuous series of school parties headed for the buffet. Neverthless service was good and I ate well at a fair price from a menu that has the usual Berlin staples. They open from breakfast onwards... More

Good solid menu and good pricing. They take large group bookings. Not a good experience if you manage to arrive around the time of these bookings (You will be treated very well and given preference over the groups, but it may be very noisy / busy!)

We opted for this place for a Sunday breakfast in Berlin, as it was very near our accommodation. The evening before, it was very busy, so we decided that it would be a good, practical option for us on the day we were leaving Berlin. How wrong could we be? As it happens, utterly so. Although the décor of the... More

Whilst looking for a cheaper and more atmospheric option for breakfast than our hotel on Joachimstrasse came across this corner restaurant. The breakfast was on a single plate, but huge and tasty and with an equally large cup of coffee-for only 6 euros. Service friendly and efficient.

We had our breakfast here everyday for a week. The prices are quite affordable (6-8 EUR) and this is a much better breakfast option than a currywurst that are available all over Berlin for the same price. There are several options for a breakfast, ranging from from scrambled eggs on bacon with tosts, through Kasefruhstuck (variety of cheese + bread... More

The restaurant is located on a corner and it has both indoor and outdoor service. The waitresses were nice and pretty fast the two times I have been there. The interior is based on dark wood, the walls are yellow colored and there are many mirrors that give a light feel to it. I didn't try the food here but... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
