Flat out for flat white

Roaring trade in good coffee with even the down under flat white available. Need to queue in busy periods and enjoy your coffee on seats outside.

Visited several times over the course of a week. Love the coffee! Love the decor and love the guys behind the counter. Very interesting roast and taste - maybe not for everybody, but I found their coffees interesting & very delicious (hence the multiple visits) This is one of the few places I've visited in Berlin that know coffee! A... More

As we try to find the best coffee in Berlin, I always order a Flat White and my husband always orders a black coffee. Both were excellent here. Once star off because there was a hair in my Flat White. I realize in hipster, bearded Berlin this is a risk I must take every time I order craft coffee, but...yeah.... More

Hands down the best flat white I've ever tasted in my whole life. I was surprised that the cup was only half full and thought, oh this is going to be really strong, and boy was I wrong about that- it was absolutely smooth and delicious, my eyes lit up. I'm not exaggerating, this coffee was the most memorable coffee... More

The best Mexican coffee I've ever had, it's not often you find a Mexican coffee roasted this well, was prepared with the Kalita Wave (I prefer V60s, but what can you do?). I had a great espresso as well. A must visit if you're in town for some coffee.

Stayed in Berlin for 9 days, and regret not drinking more of the coffee from Bonanza Coffee Heroes. Visited 5 times, and tried the flat white, latte, piccolo (close to a cortado), cappuccino and flat white again, with the beans to choose from being an Ethiopian and a Colombian. Had the Ethiopian for the piccolo only, as the Colombian was... More

Love the outdoor seating. Coffee is great, but if you're hungry you might want to get your coffee elsewhere. They only serve cookies, besides coffee.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
