Really nice interior, okay cocktails

The inside of this bar is lovely, a cosy place to hang out. The cocktails were ok but not amazing. We had a daiquiri, old fashioned and whiskey sours.

This is without a doubt one of the best chill out bar's in Berlin,in one of the best decorated bar's on the PRENZLAUER BERG area. We go here for a nice relaxing beer and very occasionally a cocktail but most time's just beer's. The decor in here is so cool,it's like stepping back in time to the 1920's and although... More

A great little spot for a drink or meal! Very chilled vibe. If you are looking for a relaxed pub in Berlin this one is perfect!

Atmospheric bar with the music being one of the best parts (jazz, lounge) .The decoration is sooo beautiful, looking like an old classical 20s bar! The place is not that big but in any case try to visit the neighborhood. there are also some other places nearby as alternative choices (you just have to walk toward the kollwitzpaltz).

1920's prohibition vibe with great cocktails. We went to a really good club called Bassy across the street after.

This cocktail bar came recommended before we even arrived in Berlin as the best bar (near Meininger Hotel, Alexanderplatz,) and it did not disappoint! On a cold evening in February when dinner has been enjoyed but the night is still young, this bar was visited more than once. The bar has the appearance of a giant whiskey cabinet from the... More

This is my favorite bar in Berlin. I go there every time for the atmosphere, music and good drinks. I have never eaten there but would try something. I like both the upstairs and downstairs and its decoration and feel, and the last few times they had 1930, 40s music to 80s and everything in between. Plus, I love the... More

I agree with some of the points in these reviews that the service could be a little better, and some of the mixes were a little off, however on the whole we loved this place! The service seemed to rely on which bar staff served you and to be fair that can be said of so many places. The drinks... More

First, the setting: all old furniture, comfortable chairs and cushy sofas, a place you want to love. Four stars! Then the service. Uninterested in anything than her smoke break with the bartender, she was a great help in suggesting a whiskey cocktail. "This one is disgusting and that one I don't like at all". She recommended the Old Fashioned. This... More

I was expecting more from a self called cocktail bar. The menu is poor having only the usual cocktails you can find in any restaurant or a beach bar in a touristic greek island. We tried 6 different ones to end up to white russia.... If they were just a bar it would have been ok....but cocktail bar you need... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
