Good Breakfast

We were staying nearby and came in for a late breakfast. There was plenty of choice and everything we had was fresh and tasty, maybe a little expensive compared to other places like this we went to in Berlin but it was very nice and they have free wi-fi. The staff were neither friendly or... read more

Good location, nice staff and a resident cat sneaking around and dozing off here and there. The latter was a positive for me but people with fur related allergies are warned. They had the most varied and attractive breakfast options I've seen in Berlin so far. My choice of fried eggs with bacon and some fresh bread was great. The... More

Breakfast variations are good, and staff is great :) Went there for days as first stop in the morning and never had anything to complain about.

The restaurant i open and spacy. The service fine and the food is a meltingpot of different cuisines from almost all over the World. We went there by hight and had some lovely Salads, soups and pasta. Fair prices which I think suits the experience

Really good place, food and staff. Nice place to have a brunch or breakfast. Very spacious and plenty of room to sit without being squeezed like in other places.

Conveniently located and a good plum cake, but that's about it. Stopped for afternoon tea, with a view to testing out for evening. Never seen a tea bag so big with so few leaves and consequently little taste. Served by surly staff so we didn't go back.

Waitress 1 and 2 confused about order. Waitress 3 excuses situation, tells us waitress 1 is in a bad mood. Waitress 2 complaints about confused order and notes that they have to pay for wrong order themselves. That's not perfect service - not even average.

I had a gnocchi dinner here and a couple of breakfasts. Totally amazing and reasonably priced. Great place to go if you are staying nearby

Ate here twice and the food was excellent. Friendly atmosphere and well priced. Lively in the evenings with good Bier and cocktails. Only downside was they have only one child seat.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
