Good curry!

Went here for some curries and some cocktails. Had the lamb rogan josh and chicken madrasi. Curries were good. Cocktails were rather average- probably the worst Margarita I've ever had.

The best Indian restaurant in Berlin, I'd say. Could leave your tongue in a permanent state of nirvana. Get enlightened by the best. Great drinks too! I loved this place on Oderbergerstrasse.

Pune restaurant is such a fun place to eat. Solid Indian cuisine, which is absolutely delicious! The food is homemade and served by very helpful waiters. VERY reasonable prices and great drinks. Don’t miss this restaurant!!!

We arrived at 21:45 and really wanted some good Indian food. The prices are great considering the size of every dish. Chicken mahkni - amazing. Great garlic nan. Very recommended

Waiters were courteous but not really friendly, we waited for a very long for everything (menu to be brought to us, order to be taken, drinks to be brought out, food to arrive, everything was very slow). The food was average at best. There are much better Indian restaurants in this area, who charge less for better meals.

A group of 6, went for the indian buffet at lunch time. Looked nice and decent outside. Only when you get in and see the limited choice of dodgy curry and crusty rice that had obviously been sat on a hot plate all weekend we realised we wanted to leave. After complaining that the food was cold and questionable, and... More

Wonderful food. Wonderful cocktails. A nice, relaxed ambiance on a very pleasant, tree-lined street that, being smack in the middle of one of Berlin's coolest neighborhoods, was very relaxing. Great location for a restaurant and a great restaurant to boot.

As an Indian going to an Indian restaurant in a foreign country and reviewing it may odd but the food at PUNE was surprisingly excellent. Loved the Chana Masala and the Paneer Tikka served sizzler style The staff was very couteous and helpful and the service matched up tothe taste Will certainly visit again when in BERLIN

Genuinely one of the highlights of my short trip to Berlin! Absolutely loved this restaurant, do not miss if you are a curry fan. The cocktails are incredible too - if you like the pina colada type cocktails, theirs is to die for. An amazing meal for a great price, mustn't miss.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
